Latvian State Historical Archives (LVVA), Riga
Dear friends and colleagues,
during my upcoming archival session in Riga, which will last from 1 April until 27 May 2026, I am happy to make photocopies for you of any archival file from the holdings of the LVVA, provided that you know its reference (fond, inventory, file).
Orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis (usually within three working days) in return for your voluntary contribution / donation. You are free to decide the amount yourself – according to what you feel is a fair reward for this work.
How to order?
- When filling in the form, please enter the numbers of the fond, inventory and file in the appropriate fields. Double-check the data and make sure everything is correct.
- Send your donation in the amount of your choice using any of the payment methods available in the payment form (Card Payment, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Revolut Pay, SEPA).
- The reference of the archival unit you ordered in copies will appear on your payment receipt. For each additional unit, please send a separate donation.
- If the unit is available only as a digital access copy (on a computer or at a microfilm reader), I will photograph all pages from the screen. If the file turns out to be unavailable for use (for example, because it needs restoration), I will refund your payment or photograph another file of your choice.
This time, unfortunately, I cannot undertake any orders for in-depth research on your ancestors in the archive, as my time here is limited.
